@small ether piracy is stealing official software. Hacking is making your device do things it normally can't do, aka run homebrew

The guide tells you what the modding is for and gives you apps to use, none of which are piracy

Buy the games to play them

run hacks and cheats for games like unlimited lifes etc, rom hacks, emulators using your backups, backing up cartridges, playing games made by the community, playing ports like gta 3 using a copy of gta 3 that you backed up etc
