bulit in n3xl nfc reader not working

hey my nfc reader on 3ds is not working i have marth 2014 and it works with 3ds any reasons why its not working and if you know any way of letting it work please tell me and i have cfw i dont now if that makes a difference thank you

You're not really giving much info on troubleshooting

Did it work then stop? What changed around then? Does it work on other 3ds units? Etc. What have you tried to narrow it down to your nfc reader?

well the amiibo is not the problem because i tried it on my switch and it worked and i think its the cfw it was modded by someone else and i bought it new so i dont think the nfc reader is broken the guy who i bought it from he was the one who modded it maybe the cfw

and it never worked

and its a new 3ds xl

Which is why you should mod it yourself to know how it was set up and how to change the settings that get changed
