Pokemom bank not working

i bought a (new) new 3ds xl (ll cuz japan) and i never logged in to anything, but i region changed it. after doing so i created my nintendo id but i keep getting error 005-5958. Posted image is not mine but its similar to what it shows me.

"similar to yours" is never a good way to shoe an error. the error code matters, what error code are you getting?

Does eshop work?

i didnt try the eshop because it shutdown, am i able to still access it?

eshop hasn't completely shut down. you just can't buy anything

region changing only doesnt fix country settings

958 is invalid country for region

i just checked the settings and i have it set on texas (where i currently am)

i created my account AFTER region changing

and no i am unable to access the eshop

0. If your console is on, turn it off. If your console happens to already be in GodMode9, skip to step 3.

1. Insert your SD card into your console.
2. Boot into GodMode9 by holding start while powering on.
3. Navigate to SysNAND Virtual
4. Select essential.exefs
5. Select copy to 0:/gm9/out
6. Power off your console and insert your SD card into your computer.
7. Navigate to /gm9/out on your SD, essential.exefs should be there.
8. Send the essential.exefs in over private messages.

• Please do not send it anywhere else.
• File contains very sensitive console unique certificates.
• These allow impersonation of console in servers, do not publicly share it.

9. Find your serial number label and provide the number or a picture of it.

• On a New 2DS, this is located under the game card/SD card slot cover.
• If you can't locate your serial number or the label is missing/rubbed off:
• The label may be on the backplate, under the Nintendo logo.
• If it is not, try unscrewing the backplate and checking there.
• The screws in the backplate are 'captive screws'. They will not unscrew all the way.
  Unscrew them until they click, then gently lift the backplate using the notches at the sides.
• The label also may be under the battery.
• If you still can't find it, please request further assistance.

i bought a japanese NEW 3ds LL
i changed the region (i believe i did) which also let me change it to USA/texas

and pokemon bank and doesnt work

Hello @wraith scroll i am having the exact same problem as this person, is it possible for you to help me aswell? i region changed the console and after that i created the nintendo account to try and use pokemon bank but got the error code 005-5958
