Try putting a rubber band on your screwdriver and see if that helps

Update
For some reason a SCHNEIDER pen is just perfect
The head fits the c stick perfectly
And the back cap fits the pen head perfectly 😂 !

Currently cutting and sanding them to be as flat as possible for the console to close perfectly
