#broken zif connector

There isn't much of a fix for those that doesn't involve soldering, cause they're friction fit.
Why Nintendo decided to use those when they could have likely used the same connector type that the digitizer/circle pad use is beyond me
Is this the connector that affects the home button?
I had the same issue with the clip thingy staying down. For me the solution was to get a hot glue gun and apply a dot of glue to each clip while it was still somewhat warm and pliable and put some pressure on it so it stays down and then just let it cool and harden. Hope this helps!
I really don't recommend that, in case you have to disassemble the console at some point in the future
It’s sturdy enough to hold down but not so much that it can’t be taken off. Comes off super easy with a little pressure. I’ve had to do it 2-3 times to fix other parts of my ds
