#my 3ds is not charging.

From a glance, I'm guessing it's the port on your system
Because of the model it is, you could sidestep this issue by buying a charging cradle, which uses those gold pads to charge the system
Though you could also repair it or take it to a repair shop, if you want to actually fix the port
There's no repair shops in my town.
Charging cradle charges the system faster?
No
Just differently
It's a different method to achieve the same goal of charging the system
So, its slower?
No
It's neither slower nor faster
The gold pads on either side of the charge port go to the same exact place, electricity wise
Like, instead of the electricity going charger -> charge port -> system, in the cradle it's going charger -> gold pads -> system
try scrubbing ur 3ds charge port and charger with a toothbrush and rubbing alcohol
