Nope, not even a small flash.

I tried holding the power button down but absolutely nothing appears. The orange light is all that appears since it's plugged in.

When plugged in, all that appears is the orange light

#

There is no sound coming (yes the volume bar was up) and there isn’t that small blue flash and “pop” sound people talk about so it can’t be a screen issue

To be honest this doesn’t make any sense

The fact it’s charging means the battery is intact detected

I guess it could be a battery but it’s a bit out of the ordinary for it to show zero life

Seems to me like it could be a deeper issue

The issue is that it charges (orange light appears) but it doesn’t turn on at all

I had a similar problem with mine when I was poking around its innards, it might be an issue with the button/power pcb

When I had the same issue with mine, the DS detected the battery but wouldn’t turn on unless connected to power
