Sausage & Cheese Balls

You will need:
1 lb. sausage
1 lb. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 & 1/2 cup bisquick (pancake & baking mix)

Instructions:

  1. Set out shredded cheese and sausage for 1-2 hours in order to get them to room temperature and soft.
  2. Mix sausage, shredded cheese, and bisquick together by hand.
  3. Roll out mixture into 1/2 inch to 1-inch balls.
  4. Bake at 350Β° Fahrenheit for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.

Saying hello from my beautiful island "La Isla del Encanto Puerto Rico" (Puerto Rico has the longest Christmas Celebration until January 6, Three Kings Day). We celebrate with many kinds of foods and desserts. Today I got inspire and made this delicious treat with a little help from my lovely mom, to share it with you guys, is one of my favorites ones to eat before Christmas( Navidad). Meringue lollipops πŸ­πŸŒ²πŸŽ„
Ingredients: 125g of protein 250 g of sugar 100 g of powdered sugar
Instructions: Pour the whites into a bowl. Then place the bowl over the pot of boiling water. Then add sugar to the bowl. Stir over low heat until the sugar dissolves, about 10 minutes - check with your fingers. Pour the egg whites into the bowl of the mixer and beat at maximum speed until the meringue is very thick. This may take around 7 minutes (or even longer). Add powdered sugar to the resulting thick mass and mix. Then line the baking sheet with baking paper and squeeze the meringues - any shape Dry at 70Β°C for about 2 hours. Remarks The mass can be colored with edible gel dyes. Store in a tightly closed container in a dry place.

β€’ 12 servings

ingredients:
β€’ 450g flour
β€’ 1 teaspoon ginger powder
β€’ 2 teaspoons of cinnamon powder
β€’ 200g butter, make sure it is softened
β€’ 100g brown sugar
β€’ 1 egg

optional:
β€’ jim's super special secret ingredient 1 teaspoon peanut butter

instructions:

  1. sift the flour, ginger, and cinnamon to prevent lumps in the dough. mix all ingredients until dough forms
  2. stretch and flatten dough. fridge 1 hour or freezer 20 min
  3. cut cookies to desired shape
  4. bake 170C (325F) around 15 min or until edges begin to brown
  5. allow to cool 5 min
  6. decorate with icing and chocolate candy

<<Nut and chocolate cake panforte>> INGREDIENTS: 250 g dried fruits, 200 g nuts, 100 g candied fruit, 100 ml flour, 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon, 0.5 teaspoon Ground ginger, 125 ml honey, 150 ml powdered sugar, 3 tbsp. orange liqueur, 100 g of dark chocolate

1.) Preheat the oven to 150⁰C.
2.) Cut out the baking paper with a diameter of 20 cm and place it in a cake mold with a removable edge, smear the edges with butter.
3.) Chop the dried fruit into small pieces. Mix nuts, candied fruit, dried fruit, spices and flour.
4.) Heat honey, sugar and liqueur, boil for 3 minutes or until sugar melts. Add the chocolate and let it melt in the hot sugar mixture.
5.) Pour the liquid into the dried fruit mixture and mix.
6.) Insert the filling into the mold. Bake for 35 minutes.
7.) Place the mold pan in the refrigerator, preferably for a few hours.
8.) Before serving, sprinkle with powdered sugar and cut into suitable pieces.

Hello everyone, I decided to bake this tasty tree as my first Christmas recipe this yearπŸŽ„β„οΈ
Christmas tree with Nutella spread
You will need:
β€’ 2 packages of puff pastry
β€’ 4 apples
β€’ lemon
β€’ 20 g of butter
β€’ 80 g of granulated sugar
β€’ 5 g of ground cinnamon
β€’ 1 egg
β€’ Nutella

  1. ) Preheat the oven to 180Β°C. Peel and cut the apples into small cubes. Put the apples in a bowl and sprinkle them with lemon juice.
    2.) Melt the butter over medium heat and add the apples.
    3.) Add sugar and cinnamon and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Leave to cool for 10 minutes. Mash the apples so that they have the consistency of puree.
    4.) Spread the sprouted apples on the first part of the puff pastry so that 1 cm of the edge remains empty on the side.
    5.) Cover with the other part of the dough. Using a knife, cut out a tree from the dough. Then, on both sides, cut strips of dough that will make the branches. Carefully twist the strips into a spiral shape.
    6.) Using a pastry brush, brush the entire tree with beaten egg. Bake the tree in the oven for 25 minutes.
    7.) Using a piping bag, add Nutella to each branch.

INGREDIENTS
FOR THE PASTRY

ΒΌ cup of caster sugar
ΒΌ cup of molasses or honey
ΒΌ cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon baking soda
Β½ cup unsalted butter (100g)
1 teaspoon powdered ginger
2 cups wheat flour
1 coffeespoon ground clove
1 tsp vanilla essence (5 ml)
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
FOR THE GLACES

1 egg white
1 cup icing sugar
1 teaspoon lemon juice
PREPARATION
dough:

In a bowl add the egg, butter, honey, sugar, cinnamon, ginger, clove, vanilla essence and freshly ground nutmeg to taste, stir everything with a spoon until you get a homogeneous mass.
Gradually start adding the flour, mixing it slowly so it doesn't bubble. At this point, also add the baking soda.
Continue adding the flour and stirring until it becomes too heavy to stir with a spoon.
When the dough reaches the correct point, similar to that of a bread loaf, buttery but soft and not sticky to the hands, stop adding flour.
Place a plastic wrap under the table and separate a piece of dough, start opening it until it is about 1 cm high, with the help of a rolling pin.
Still wrapped in plastic, place on a hard, flat surface and refrigerate for about 40 minutes.
After this time, remove the dough from the plastic and cut it into the shape you want with a cookie cutter.
To get the most out of the dough, use the cutter closely so that the dough on the side doesn't crack and can be used for the next cut.
Place the cookies carefully in a low baking pan and make a hole on top of them so you can pass the string for the tree or organization later.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180Β° for 15 minutes or until the base is lightly browned.
After this time, remove from the oven and set aside.
for the royal icing
Pour the egg whites into a bowl and whip until foamy, then gradually add the icing sugar, whisking constantly.
Then add the lemon juice and beat until you get a consistent cream like egg whites. Set aside.

Hii! This was made from biscuits and ginger bread πŸ˜› πŸŽ„

Biscuits:

  • 250g of flour
  • 125g of brown sugar
  • 125g of butter (salted, it's better ;p)
  • 1 egg
    In a bowl, mix the flour with the sugar and add the egg. Cut the butter in small pieces and add it to the mixture. If the dough is too soft, refrigerate for 15 min. When the dough is ready, flatten it with a rolling pin (less than 5 mm) and cut into different shapes. Bake in a preheated oven at 170Β°C for 10 min.

Ginger bread: made by @lost garnet, she won't share the recipe (too lazy to translate :'))

sponge cake with cream cheese (i have a sweet tooth, so i added a lot of sugary things here.)

ingredients:

  • for cake:
    chicken eggs - 3 pcs
    sugar - 100 g
    wheat flour - 100 g
    (i made two different sponge cakes, which I eventually cut into pieces. some of the sponge cakes are vanilla, the other is chocolate.)

  • for cream cheese:
    mascarpone - 350 g
    cream 33% - 200 g 33%
    powdered sugar - 70 g
    almond extract - 1 tsp

  • for gingerbreads:

flour - 200 g
yolk - 1 pc .
butter - 100 g
honey - 2 tbsp
sugar - 2 tbsp
ground ginger - 1 tsp
ground cinnamon - 1 tsp
ground cloves - 1 tsp
ground nutmeg - 0.5 tsp
salt - 1 pinch
baking powder - 1 tsp

  • white and pink icing (i made it myself, but you can buy ready-made)

  • sprinkles, strawberries (i added frozen strawberries that i picked in the summer), coffee beans (for mouse ears), m&m’s (christmas hats for mice), toothpicks

recipe for cake:

  1. beat eggs with sugar with a mixer for 10 minutes.
  2. add flour and mix.
  3. preheat the oven to 180 degrees, bake for 35 minutes.
    the remaining ingredients are optional.

recipe for gingerbread:

  1. beat butter, honey, sugar and yolk.
  2. mix flour, baking powder, salt and spices.
  3. combine the butter mixture with flour and knead the dough. put it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  4. beat the protein with powdered sugar to stable peaks and put it in the refrigerator.
  5. roll out the dough, cut out the cookies with molds, put on parchment paper.
  6. bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 10-15 minutes.

recipe for cream cheese:
1.cool the mascarpone and cream as much as possible, put everything together in a bowl and add powdered sugar.
2. beat the cream with a mixer for about 5-7 minutes until a lush, thick consistency.
3. a minute before the end, add the almond extract.

OMG MY CHEAP PHONE CAN'T TAKE A PICTURE OF THE CAKE PROPERLY.. and my hands are shaking so much... so i will attach more than two photos

Gingerbread House

1 cup of sugar
2 cup of flour
3/4 cup of unsalted butter
1 spoon of cinnamon powder
1 spoon of clove powder
1 spoon of ground ginger
1 spoon of soda bicarbonate
1 spoon of honey
1 spoon of vanilla extract
1 egg

Mix all the ingredients until it form a dough, then wrap in plastic and let it rest in the fridge for 30 minutes, after the rest, open with a rolling pin and cut it into the shape you prefer. Bake it until golden browm at 180Β° Celsius.

TRANSFORMICE SNOWRAT CAKEPOP!!!

I don't know if somebody before has thought about this, but I like to think that this is my brilliant idea and it's a cakepop but made of "pan dulce"
You can make your own pan dulce at home or buy one in a bakery. Those are the best ones for this recipe because you can crumble the dough easily.
Once you have the crumbles, you mix it with Filadelfia cheese.
Add cheese until you form a nice moldeable paste, and give a round shape with your hands. One ball bigger than the other. Then melt white chocolate and spread it in there. Insert a toothpick in the bigger one and put the little above.
Sprinkle with coconut and decore with dried fruit.
