The power of the boiler depends on the ship, Either A steam powered which is mm/H2O

Tbh, Boilers don't really have a power output, It's more for heating the main engine... To give power, we have 4 Generators

Yea hence the work on it, You have to check the inside of the boiler for any cracks or possible problems that might happen

and if the boiler is down can you still cold start the engine or will this damage it

To be honest with you, No you cannot start the engine, nor will it get damaged, but it can be flooded with Heavy Fuel Oil (HFO).

That's why the boiler continues to work non-stop, in which keeps the engine warm even during stationary at a port with the Main Engine offline.

finally caught noctilucent clouds, unfortunatelly no pro photo cause no tripod, but phone saw them as well, theyre the highest type of clouds consisting of ice particles, showing up in summer after sunset or before sunrise, at the roughly 80 km altitude
