As I mentioned the last time a suggestion like this was posted, it is simply ridiculous to add a new reward just one week before an event ends
People will have long since finished the event and most likely sold off their relics, candles, gifts, etc.
So they would have to start gathering them again and for what? A reward for playing the game in the last 7 days of a six week long event?

If you want to add a new reward, the best time to do it is at the start of the event.
The second best time would be a week or two after the start. But anywhere after that it is not good to do that...
