I was thinking about something that would improve the event greatly in my opinion, even if it is unlikely any change will be made to it (apart from reducing the milestones values)

Setting NPCs (or any clickable entities) at 3 points of the map (1 on the left, 1 on the middle, 1 on the right, see the circles on the image) and clicking on it would add whichever item we have on the back to the progress bar (just like when we enter the spawn area) so that farming would be way more efficient because we would not have to go back to the spawn everytime

Also removing the effect on the current spawn area (so that when we enter it, our item wouldn't go unless we click the npc/entity) would make it so much more easier to do item combinations for players at the center of the map

Making the farming faster/easier would motivate players to focus more on the main progress of the event than just their individual rewards
It is just an idea I was having

When you bring back resources that are not required for the ongoing milestone, you won't get rewards but it still counts on your calendar so you are still able to complete your calendar goals and get the big rewards (title for wood, shop item for stone, strawberries for water, badge for iron, orb for cement and emote for broom)
