The Lua VM is having some issues, and those are causing most of the bugs you see in the event:

• defilante tokens not loading
• getting tickets with delay
• progress not saving
• NPCs not working correctly

These are happening for other Modules as well, it's something global. Only Tig can fix it, but he's not available right now due to festivities

lua makers should stop accommodating the room hoppers, this lua is the worst ive ever played from the sheer amount of time it takes

making it so unnecessary hard for "casual" players who dont want to room hop and just play in the room normally

Well, it always has been like that, so just like in the rudest way the rules is stated in the game (about trolling), "deal with it"

room hopping is always a thing, even padders do that to avoid getting revived (unfortunately)

its true luas are meant to be longer yes, but the length has increased so drastically. this lua similarly to the past orchestra lua take a loooong time and i myself play more than the average player and still struggle to do these luas on time due to amount of grind they warrant. and i understand the lua makers work hard and its hard to please everyone, but i play all the luas and i appreciate the work that goes into them but the increased complexity not only makes it harder for people to complete these luas without external resources but also make more people not want to play them in the first place. im not here to hate on the lua or the lua makers but just suggest that in the future to make the luas more casual friendly so to speak. panda clause is made very well in my opinion but the repetitive nature of the gameplay has made it boring for me (sorry)

and i get why people room hop they want to complete it fast but its really seeming to be the only way to complete instead of an option to

you can try using /chat candle so when the event plays sometimes people mention room names that it is playing in, you just make sure to hop over to that room in time before they get the final candle on that map, then you get a candle from it too! and if there is more than 1 u can hop to another in that round to get some

basically you don't have to be alive on that map to get the candle if they make it with all 5
