Summary of Stage event on November 12, 2022
There are three types:

• official (events that are managed by Atelier801 developers);
• lua (events managed by Event Squad); and
• Discord/forum events.

For 2022, these are the plans:

• There will be several Christmas-related Discord/forum events, for example a Christmas Baking Contest;
• The Orchestra ends on December 8, and final Lua event of this year launches on December 15;
• Official Christmas event (snowboards, relics, etc) is planned to return this year, more details will be added later.

During the Stage, three questions were brought forward to the players:

• Which event title should we add in the Lua event;
• Should the Lua event be simple as Bounce or task-filled like Nightmares;
• For 2023, should we add longer breaks between Lua events?

Conclusions
As noted on #votes, the majority prefers longer breaks between events. We will adjust agenda for 2023 accordingly.
Santa is currently developing the Christmas Lua, and it will be as simple as Bounce and task-filled like Nightmares. How? You'll see...

Less anxiety and urge to farm for them overall making the whole experience more relaxed
The bounce lua was honestly chef kiss, easy to understand and to play, not as time consuming as other luas, didnt need to constantly check the wiki for enigmas & whatnot and also funny in a way because your progress wasnt determined by actions that you necessarily had to complete in one round (like the instruments in orchestra lua, or even worse, the puzzle, that shouldve kept the progress each time imo), so you could enjoy and reach whatever platform/points every time
Top disfavourite luas were nobles quest and nightmares hunt. Too complex, you need a couple hours just to get what you have to do, they also happen once per hour so extremely time consuming if you dont room hop, they were buggy (while easier luas are usually less buggy for obvious reasons) and confusing and worst of all you needed to coop necessarily to finish some steps

Original plan wasnt to write a review lmao but it ended up like that so here we are, imo tfm was born as a simple casual game and should be kept that way

I also want to say that I am in no way angry or whatev at the event squad, I hope it didnt sound like that in the message, just wanted to give some costructive criticism
i recognize and appreciate the fact that you guys are basically working for free here for us to get some different gameplay and in some events you can just feel the commitment behind it

I believe it all depends on the people involved and if they prefer less frequent events that's totally fine, if some players want more often, that could also be done properly. In my opinion, all the luas events that were held from chinese new year, to the orchestra were fun events with a variety of entertainment, although the event that I couldn't complete was the Noble Quest (I'm still waiting to get the rewards through the lmao chests) since its complexity was great, as well as its "difficulty" since you had to work as a team, and that more than one, including me, we we got stuck in the event because of it. I also learned a bit more about the work of the Event Squad and that it's not always easy to make an event that everyone likes, but their hard work in bringing these events to us is greatly appreciated and that it's not always just waiting for an event to come of adventure calendar, Thanks to everyone who is part of the events team, and I hope everything goes well for you for future projects ✨

Make sure sound is on, play the # and pause when there's a comma, you will then hear note(s) play. Then repeat from the beginning

example:

Press: 3 4 1 5 wait for sound

As for the complexity fo the Christmas event, it will still be required to be a little bit complex (as in, you do need to do various tasks) because of the rewards I had in mind, but they'll be easy, fun, brain-turned-off gameplay.

For the glitch/bug at the microphone slide puzzle, until it is fixed, follow this solution: Let's say the map starts, you talk to the Diva and try to press Continue but the puzzle doesn't open. Walk away from the Diva, the dialogue window will disappear. Return to her and talk, then press Cancel. Then talk once more to her by pressing spacebar as usual and this time when you press Continue, the puzzle will appear.

Here's a feature that no one has noticed, or at least pointed out yet:

After you complete at least one musician, a play/pause button will appear in the top left, and it will loop 8 bars of the song. You can click each musician that you have unlocked to add/remove their instrument from the loop, meaning you can customize and create your own version of the song :)

You need to use number keys, 1 to 7, to replicate the sequence you see. Not click with your mouse

Some dialogues might seem off because the gameplay changed along the way, for example the tuning instructions were supposed to be given at the pile of music score sheets and the accompaniment of the Diva was supposed to take place on the piano at the left of the stage, like the text says, instead of next to her, but yeah no problem, as long as people are not misled. Who reads dialogues after all eh? 😛

It wasn't disabled, I just changed the order of execution so the chat message only triggers after everything else has been loaded. If the event tries to load two times at the same round the script is terminated and the event is skipped because otherwise if I let the double execution to happen, everything gets really messy and may crash your game... I can't do nothing to fix it, sorry :c

I've been having trouble with the current lua event, specifically the tuning part. Whenever I try to press correlated numbers in order, based on the colors, it only registers the first one and nothing else. The first and only gray dot changes color and nothing else shows up regardless of which number I press. The only times I progressed was either by random keysmashing or holding both keys at the same time (which isn't realiable later on)
Am I doing something wrong?

When you complete a part of the tuning, the músic will play. After it finishes playing, it will show you the next part and you have then to replicate the 1st and 2nd... And so on. If you have sounds and particle effects disabled, you will probably not notice this

okay so for example, the violin is 65,671,712,32. so what youll do is push 6 and then 5, wait for the next set to pop up, and then push 6, 5, 6, 7, 1. wait for the next set, 6 5 6 7 1 7 1 2 and so on

when you type them in correctly each number you press makes like a sound thats.. it sounds like pages turning to me? and when youre waiting for the next set of numbers to pop up the last dot will stay black while waiting

you always start back from the beginning each time a new set of dots pop up, and some of them take what feels like forever to pop up so just make sure you dont push anything bc itll mess it up

Many people sold relics for 1-10cc (sometimes 15cc if this relic was previously rare) but there were some people who were still selling most common relics from the price 20cc and even to 50cc

And because of trade room there is always a big chance you will get muted for writing only 1 message but people who wrote 10 messages in row, they won't even be warned for spamming offers

the game has been updated countless times throughout the year, which makes it different than how it was a year ago, and coding isn't easy. sometimes things break. it's best if we wait until the event is ready to be released instead of having it be released with game-breaking bugs, just be patient (also: constructive criticism is fine. bringing people down just because isn't. so please be careful with the way things are worded)
