if you're having trouble with a flashing black screen when opening transformice on steam, you can fix it

first, open file explorer
OS(C:) > program files (x86) > steam > steamapps > common > transformice

right click the transformice application
hover over 'run with graphics processor'
select 'change default graphics processor'
when the window pops up, select your graphics processor on the drop down menu near the top
select apply

and it should run fine !
