About a year ago, my Gmail account was hacked, and now, when I log into the game, it says I'm banned for the reason "Account Compromised." The truth Is, someone hacked all my Gmail-related accounts, but I was able to recover almost everything. I love this game; I've been playing it since 2017, and it's very special to me. The Steam launcher shows my last login was on March 7th 2024, but I never logged in. I was affected by the sabotage during those days, and now it turns out I'm banned indefinitely. Hello, good afternoon. I would like to ask for help with an important issue related to my Transformice account.

Some time ago, my account was marked as “Compromised Account” and I received a permanent ban. This happened because around a year ago, my Gmail account was hacked along with other personal accounts. I did not log into Transformice during that period, but the system detected a suspicious login and ended up banning me.

I was able to recover my Gmail and practically all my other accounts, but Transformice remains blocked, even though I didn’t do anything wrong.

I’ve been sending reports since last year (I have proof of that), and every time I contact support I receive the exact same response: a generic message saying they can’t process the request because I “accepted the Terms.”
By the way they respond, I honestly believe the replies are automated or very superficial, since they never review my evidence or mention anything I explain.

That’s why I’m coming here to Discord:
I believe the Discord moderators are more present, more “active” in the community, and maybe they can guide me or give my case a proper look. I have proof of ownership of my account, proof of the hack, and of all the reports I’ve submitted.

I’ve been a player since 2017, very active, and I’ve never had any sanctions. It really hurts that my account is lost because of something I didn’t do. I just need someone to actually review the information and tell me what I can do.

I have both versions and adobe air is definitely lighter but the quality is super low, text especially looks super blurry. still good to have though because the /avatar command works with it. I highly recommend making a desktop shortcut for TFM and playing off of that, that way you can open it without having to run Steam at the same time which seems to fix the issue!

Both of which you can find somewhere in the Disc by searching it, it may also be pinned (I'm not sure)

About child safety and abuse.. I had a panic attack while playing the game today. I need help.

I will address certain crimes against people that concern the Turkish server. I believe these individuals should be reported to the relevant authorities in our country, and that the game’s moderation team should not allow such people any further space to communicate. I’m not writing this message to target or blame the moderation team or any admins. The only thing I see is that people like this have been actively talking in the game for months. If you want to understand what I mean, join the TR server and read what’s written in the café using a translator.

They feel comfortable because they think they’re anonymous and can say whatever they want when no mod is active. But today I felt so disgusted that I was almost having a panic attack while reading what they wrote.

Please don’t tell me to report that person to a moderator. Seeing TR moderators in the game is extremely rare. And since they join so rarely, they can’t even recognize people who get permabanned and come back with alt accounts.

Even though these kinds of conversations also happen in normal game rooms, I specifically want to talk about the Café section. Today in the Café, a player named Burnedfire#8903 was openly claiming that abusing children is ‘normal’ and was trying to make jokes about it to cover it up. If you’re wondering, I can share a video or censored screenshots of what he wrote. The truly disturbing part is that instead of saying this was wrong, other users were laughing along with him and making jokes as well.

Remember, this isn’t the first time—these kinds of conversations happen every single day. Every day people threaten each other and insult each other. You heard that right, every single day.

I can already hear you saying that these things happen in other games too. Yes, they do — but not this freely. Don’t get me wrong, my intention isn’t to criticize the game. And if you’re wondering, ‘Why don’t you just switch servers?’ — it’s because I want to play the game with friends who speak my own language. I really love Transformice! It's not like mods from other communities don't want to help out, it's just cross-community moderation is most often not feasible, and relying on translator tools could risk misunderstandings, missing cultural nuances, or cause other issues. I know it's super frustrating when the moderators from you community are not available, but I'm sure they'll review the matter as soon as they are able to, just make sure to report the person in-game whenever you run into any inappropriate comments. Receiving a report in-game also helps us record what's going on, and if necessary, forward the situation to the relevant community.

I see where you are coming from, but at the same time, I could argue that some help is still better than none at all. I believe anyone who is volunteering does so out of wanting to help. Which I personally genuinely appreciate - be it staff, other volunteers, or just players like yourself who are doing whatever is in their capacity. ^^ A little kindness can go a long way.

I'd also like to note that the mods (yellow names) are in-game moderators, who are not required to be present on Discord. Which is partially why we usually suggest to use the in-game report function rather than reporting people here. And the same applies the other way around as well, a moderator appearing online here may not be available for Transformice matters, people use Discord for other things. (This is not necessarily directed at anyone here, just a general statement.) Of course it's still nice that some of us do occasionally check these chats, because it's definitely useful to be responsive when someone's in need. In here, we also have the lovely Discorderators who can keep this environment safe, and I can see several of them being active which is awesome. 🧡

Pinging me a million times won't help the situation unfortunately. Users who display such behaviour as banned permanently without any discussion and the mods are VERY attentive to these issues. It is one of the very few instances where cross-community moderation is permitted (to the best ability and understanding that someone who does not speak said language can attain).

As much as we can, and where information is available, we report such cases to cyber crimes. It's not from a lack of wanting or trying to do something about it, but rather it's almost impossible to monitor everything all the time. These sort of activities are illegal in most countries and the expectation is that they do not take place, but they are dealt with as swiftly as possible when they do take place. The anonymity of the internet is working against us though, and it gives these people the possibility of saying things that would otherwise get them in prison.

I would also venture the thought that there is a certain level of responsibility on the parents as well, to monitor the type of content that their children use on the internet and the activities they participate in. It's team-work. It's a very tough thing to deal with and we're doing what we can.

I'm sorry that you had to experience that. I will however encourage you to continue to report users that engage in such behaviours (and even better if you add a description in the reason for the report). Your reports are also playing a part in helping us monitor and remove content and users when needed. 🙏🏻

Guys help.
When I was little, I played Transformice a lot. I bought quite a lot of items. Years later, I felt like playing the game again, but I had to recover my entire account first. I managed to do that. I played for a while, then took a break, and now, when I tried to log in again, it turned out that I couldn’t access the account once more. I sent an email about account recovery, but this time I received a reply saying that the account would not be returned to me.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Maybe someone can advise me on what I should do? I’m really worried about losing this account, not even because of the items I bought, but because of the sentimental value

None of the passwords work, not even the email. I suspect the account has been stolen again. I still have access to the email through which I recovered my account, but I don’t think that will help

if they are playing on mac via steam the /avatar command won’t work. it will work changing through adobe on mac. however on steam on windows & adobe the command should work
