The game has a broken contact system; no matter how much information you have, it's never enough. @fervent nacelle can't seem to improve the contact system, which is sad. You lose an account and can't recover it because they don't check all the information you send and give an automated response. I've had an account lost since 2020-2021, and I still have access to the YouTube channel where I made videos with the account. Furthermore, if they check the email from 2020-2021, it will match my current email address exactly. I wish @fervent nacelle would review this. It's a shame they don't even join Discord.

It's not a broken system. If you keep track of just a few simple things that it asks you for (first fur you bought, how many furs you have, what county/ip your account was first registered etc etc.) It really isn't that complicated of a task to have lost your account.

The reason for this is that under european and french data protection regulations (GDPR and CNIL), companies are prohibited from storing technical data - such as IP addresses, geolocation, login history, etc - longer than a specific period, usually 3 years. After this time, sensitive info are deleted for security reasons. While your actual game profile (your progress, purchases, nickname and tag) is kept so you can return, the "reference data" needed to verify your identity may be no longer available. I dont know all details, so this is just my personal perspective based on my own experience recovering an account before I became a mod. Im truly sorry things turned out this way. raising concerns? that's fine. what's not fine however is this constant cycle of selective outrage, misinformation, and people refusing to engage with anything that doesn’t fit the narrative they’ve already decided is true.

and yes, I know some of you feel like and say you're "not being heard", and yes I can understand why it may feel that way. but the reality is that staff does read the concerns, you are being heard, but that does not equate agreeing to your points. and instead of accepting that outcome, some of you have just chosen to double down, repeat the same claims, ignore every response that contradicts you, and then call that "being silenced". that's literally not how this all works.

now let me talk about Yuki specifically since their place in the moderation team is where all this situation has stemmed from, and the claims that they are acting with political bias, targeting people unfairly, or somehow supporting harmful ideologies through moderation. you have to realize that these are incredibly serious accusations, and it is not supported by the actual facts of the situation.

"evidence" I've personally seen so far falls into the same pattern:

• vague statements with no specific, verifiable examples
• personal interpretations of situations without full context
• old or unrelated content being forced into the current situation
• and assumptions being treated as conclusions

sorry to break it to you, but that is not evidence, but pure speculation. calling something a pattern does not make it one, especially if you cannot actually demonstrate it with clear, consistent, and recent examples. keeping on repeating a claim does not make it factual. and interpreting moderation actions through a political lens does not make them political. right now what seems to be happening is that conclusions are being decided first, and then anything remotely fitting is being labeled as "proof" while everything else is ignored.

what is happening is much simpler: rules are being enforced. people break them. they get sanctioned. that's it. but instead of accepting that, owning up to past mistakes and violations against the game guidelines and rules, you are reframing those actions as "anti-Palestinian" or "pro-genocide" which is not only false, but incredibly irresponsible as well. and it creates a double standard which is impossible to ignore at this point. you are accusing a moderator of bringing politics into moderation while actively targeting that same moderator because of where they are from? you are the ones turning this into a political issue. making political statements, provoking reactions, making extreme comments, and then acting surprised when moderation steps in, does not make you victims. it makes you participants in the exact behavior you’re complaining about. you don't get to provoke situations, make inflammatory or hateful comments, disrupt discussions, and then when action is taken, hide behind a "this is political bias" excuse. that's just deflection. and the constant attempt to frame this moderator as biased all while simultaneously treating them differently because they are Israeli, is exactly the kind of behavior you claim to be against. please just take a moment and think about that.

on top of it all I couldn't help but notice a patter in past discussions around this topic. vague claims like "there’s a pattern" with no concrete evidence, old, out of context messages from years ago being dragged in, completely separate situations being twisted to fit the same narrative, and anything that contradicts the story being ignored. without any honest attempt to understand what happened, but building a case and then forcing everyone else to fit into that. even unrelated situations, like an ex-mod being removed from this server, have been dragged in and reshaped to support the same narrative, but let me tell you, that happened out of a completely different context and different reasons.

now let me also address another claim I saw rather often, which is that "nothing is being done" about this all. again, that is not true. there have been cases where valid concerns were raised and they were addressed, both in the past, and even during this whole debacle. for example when some staff were using silly gifs during tense moments to try to diffuse the situation, that was seen as dismissive despite good intentions. feedback about it was taken, and addressed internally. the same can be said when another staff member used stronger wording in one of the disputes, that was also addressed behind the scenes. even if you don't see those actions, it doesn't mean they didn't happen.

not every issue results in public punishment or removal, and they shouldn't. Internal discussions, warnings, and corrections are also part of moderation. that's how a team improves without turning every situation into a spectacle. soo the idea that staff ignores everything or nothing ever happens is simply incorrect. I know it can be sensed as an absence of action but there have to be boundaries around what can and should be handled publicly.

and let me get something absolutely clear: disagreement does not get anyone sanctioned. bahavior and conduct does. everyone is allowed to disagree and to criticize staff, however the moment it turns into harassment, misinformation spreading, repeated provocation, disruptive behavior, and ignoring moderation instructions, then action will be taken. not because of your opinion, but because of how you choose to act.

and let's stop pretending that there are no proper ways to handle genuine feedback and concerns. it's been requested multiple times that:

• ban/mute appeals go to moderators privately (forum PM, Discord DM, whispers potentially)
• staff related concerns go through the contact form

these processes exist for a reason. and yes they do work when there are actual legitimate grounds. what does not work is spamming Discord with the same accusations, going in circles, and trying to rally people around a narrative. that's just noise after a certain point, not "seeking justice and accountability". and from this point onwards it will be treated as such. misinformation, harassment, and repeated attempts to provoke or derail discussions will result in warnings, kicks, and bans if necessary, as mentioned above. call it unfair, that won't change a thing. this is just us refusing to keep entertaining bad faith arguments and ongoing harassment.

in the past, I have made myself personally available to talk to people who had genuine concerns. all I got was some people looking for validation, not understanding. the door was open, and it was not used in good faith.

in the end. if anyone has verifiable concerns please use the proper channels. if you don't then stop dragging this out. there. topic's done from my end.
