You’re right, Dead Maze came a few months after #random, but for example the case that guy mentioned who has a #0000 that is not + in 2026 is because he created his account in another Atelier801 game, for example in Bouboum or Nekodance (it was before #random), and he never logged into Transformice with that account until now, and the game gives him his #0000.

About Extinction, it closed in 2020, and all accounts from 2013 and earlier were migrated to Atelier801 adding a + to them; if you created an account from 2014 onwards, it was no longer considered a +.

Currently it is not possible to CREATE an account with + or #0000; however, if you previously played some Atelier801 game other than Transformice and Dead Maze, and you remember your username and password, you can have #0000 in 2026.
