of course I can't speak for that specific case, but just because you don't see it, it doesn't necessarily mean no action was taken (for example a mute). there are also certain scenarios which are language or community specific.
it is great though that you reported the user, that does help moderators deal with the situation faster. if it is urgent, you can try to privately (ingame, or on Discord) reach more moderators. one of them not being available at the moment does not mean that no one is, and it also does not mean that that specific moderator is never available which seems to be implied here.
otherwise, the ignore function can help in the meantime.
