Hi all,

I have picked up a GBC mobo with some damaged pads and through-holes. Must be a case off too much heat for too long.

I am a novice when it comes to trace repair but, i can handle a soldering iron. Im going to put the USB C pro board mod on from Giltesa which eliminates a lot of the repair work on the power side however, the LED pads are completely shot. There is no continuity from the test pad on the front to the trace on the back. From reading articles, the best/easiest thing to do is run a 30AWG enamelled wire front to back through the damaged hole soldering to the required traces. Great! But how would i then install the LED mod PCB that relys on being soldered through the through-hole? Im thinking one wire to join the traces then another from the back of mod PCB to the trace on the back?

Any advice/tips will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
