Hey there
Would you be able to verify your light button with a multimeter in continuity mode ?
Poke two sides of the button and press it
Unpressed pins 1 & 3 have continuity as do 2 & 4.
When pressed 3 and 2 have continuity
As do 1 & 4. So button is working i think
Sounds good, now just to be sure, do the same thing with a probe on ground and a probe on the Q12B test pad (under the light button, diagonal left)
Yep continuity when pressed
Does the pins on the screen ribbon send power and button signal?
Hmm. Light seems to be working again. May have just been some dirt or a bad cable seat
