I have an authentic Pokémon emerald game that when inserted its gets stuck on the game boy screen without the Nintendo logo. I have tried cleaning the contacts with isopropyl alcohol so I don’t know what’s wrong can anyone help? Here are a couple pictures to get a better understanding of what’s wrong. Hopefully it’s fixable

Do you have any other games, and if so, do they also not load?

if that's the case, then it's likely not he cart.

if you have another Game Boy Advance of any kind (GameCube Game Boy Player, even), does it do it on that one?

I have Mario and Luigi superstar saga and it works perfectly when I insert it so I don’t think it’s a console problem

ok, that eliminates two possible other potential issues.

So is there any way to fix it

we have to figure out the issue first

noticed a possible broken trace

Oh where?

Ah that’s not good

got a multimeter?

No

then I guess you can't test that trace to see if it's still intact.

if that is a broken trace and you do not have the tools to even verify it, I feel that you may not have the skills to fix it as well.

if you're lucky, the trace is still intact and not the issue, but without the proper tools to diagnos the issueit will be hard to even know where to begin.

worst case, you can wait until the #1049401311101206649 is open to you and hope that someone here can fix it.

or find someone in your area that can do repairs.

either way will cost you.

Do you think there is anything else wrong with it?

I can't be sure without having it in front of me

Ok well I’ll see any repair shops and find a way to fix it
