Hello, I just finished my modded GBC, I :
Unfortunately it is not booting my games, it stays stuck on the BIOS. Out of the dozen attempts with four different cartridges that work fine on another unit, it only successfully started a game once.
I think it recognizes them properly, as the Nintendo logo is clean, and I can change colors when o put a GB game.
Any idea of what can cause this ?

I gave it a good clean with your method, unfortunately it did not help 😦

A good clean of the power switch might be in order. I would recommend also to check the RAM pins for bad solder joints
