Just in case you didn't know, this is a bad cartridge for many reasons
We can still see if we can make it work, but there are many issues with that kind of cart

Can you open the cartridge ?

Just in case, you can clean your console slot this way :

`Initial cleaning can be done by wrapping a micro fibber around a plastic card that you don't care about
Damp the fibber edge with IPA alcohol (not soaked, just wet) and make some insertion motion, keeping the cloth somewhat tensioned on the cart
Do not make any left - right motion

Once this is done, test your slot by wrapping a piece of paper around a cartridge PCB (no need to keep the top cover)
The paper should come out of it clean, no dark lines

The other game I have is a sewing machine softwhere and it seems to work fine

It is most likely related to your cartridge, but I had to cover it
Tell me when you have pictures of your cartridge circuits

rough brook
#

Looks like it, can you pls explain how it's a bad cartridge?

rough brook
#

Does it do any damage to my GBC

compact goblet
#

It can damage the cart slot if it has HASL contacts (not-gold)

rough brook
#

It has gold contacts tho I think

#

My gbc works fine tho

#

I don't have anything to open it with

#

I tried to get a photo of the pins

#

And now SML2 is not loading sometimes

#

Sewing machine seems fine and all the other games work fine on the 61 in 1 with what I seem (expect the safe)

#

It's just SML2 that's freaking out now

#

@compact goblet what does that mean?

compact goblet
#

Well, like I said, those are bad cartridge that have trouble saving, among other things
If you can't open the cart, at least clean the contacts with a qtip but I don't think you'll get more out of that cart

rough brook
#

Is the pins gold?

#

And is it still usesable as it's the only cartridge I have

rough brook
#

It was working well till recently

compact goblet
#

-one- literal drop on a Q-Tip, yeah

rough brook
#

@compact goblet it seems to work now that I haven't used it for a long time and blew on it

#

I could use some explaining pls @compact goblet (sorry for pinging you two times)

#

Nvm it's still having problems
