Hey I totally fucked up the solder connection on tp9 for the left trigger on a laminated screen. Can i solder the wire anywhere else?

from one of the guides I found, TP points and their directly related inputs are color-coded with each other.

you should be able to use the one just below the shoulder button, directly up from the up pad. look for the little light green dot

that should be the one. do note that that is where the pin from the should button trigger is soldered. try not to damage that one as well.

Lol well I WAS able to make a successful connection to the left bumper but my select button wouldn't trigger the osd. SO I re-soldered the points on the ribbon cable and on the select button. BUT IT STILL WOULDN'T WORK. so i tried the start button and that STILL WOULDN'T WORK.

I yeild to technology. It won this round.

I appreciate your help but unfortunately I overestimated my ability for this project.
