Is the damage to the pins and vias significant enough to swap the mask ROM to another PCB? It still boots in my FPGBC, but I did get a white screen once after the boot logo that resolved after reinserting the cartridge. FlashGBX also showed a corrupt Nintendo logo or an invalid checksum until I re-cleaned the pins with 91% IPA and reseated the cartridge in the GBxCart.

It doesn't look to be horrible based off your pictures. I would check both ICs to see if you have any loose legs before going that route.
Cool, thanks. Guess I'll commit to to the swap if it gets worse by consistently not booting or if I run into other issues like saving once I replace the battery. I was mostly concerned about the 4th pin since it looks corroded through the trace on the back too. Seeing other carts on the internet there's definitely worse ones out there 😅
the mark on the back is kind of harmless, don't worry about that
as for the front, see the 2 red lines I've drawn - the contacts will press down somewhere between these 2 lines generally (once the cart is fully inserted) so the wear at the edge is not going to stop the game from working. But do give the contacts a nice clean
Awesome, thanks for clarifying. Knowing the edges don't actually make contact gives me more peace of mind
