#SP Soldering Gone Wrong

Hello, recently I tried modding my SP by switching out the charging port and the volume slider. I am an amateur at soldering and I messed up pretty badly.

In Pic 1, this is what it looks like after I removed the volume slider, pads 3 and 4 are missing and the other pads look iffy.

In Pic 2, the trace connecting to the pad3 has been ripped off along with the pad itself.

In Pics 3 and 4, I spilled some solder onto these parts, wondering if it's going to negatively affect the gameboy at all.

In Pic 5, the trace connected to the left side of the charging port seems to have melted.

In Pic 6, the backside of the charging port looks kinda burnt.

In Pic 7, some of the pins are bridged.

The console can still turn on and play games. The console's charging light does not turn on when plugged in and there is no volume output.

Just looking to know if this is salvageable, and if anyone would be willing to save it for me. Any help is appreciated, thank you so much.

the screen connector can be replaced but not at your soldering skill level. you should buy a replacement.

#

the charge port is not soldered properly and should be removed and realigned

#

pin 3-4 on the volume wheel is NC so there should be no loss in function so long as pads for pin 1-2 are not damaged

Would there be any way to fix the volume wheel with pin 3 being not connected? Or would the solution have to be to get a new motherboard

#

I will probably try to look for someone to do the mods for me as I don't want to make these mistakes again lol

you would patch a jumper to the rest of the circuit so not all hope is lost. but the repair would require intermediate/advanced skills
