Popped open the pink pocket from my latest haul and this is the first time I've seen corrosion this bad. Before I go removing these contacts (I've ordered new ones) is there anything I could be doing to salvage these?

The negative terminal is cracked, but doesn't seem to be all the way through.

Contrast potentiometer issue as well, looks like. Volume seemingly works. Buttons all work.

I'm very slightly touching the wheel here, hoping I can get by with cleaning it...

If it comes down to it and you aren’t able to get them working all the way, there are replacement PCBs that you can swap the components to.

Fully snapped, made it a pain to remove

Was some odd gunk under it, mostly got rid of it but the pad seems fine, had to wrestle it a bit. Used the flat side of a k tip to push it out because there was nothing to grab onto on the other side. Lots of solder sucker and wick too.
