Well, I haven't been in here before. but there is a wire next to the switch that looks rather odd, could that be our culprit?
Based on the shoddy solder work, I'm guessing someone opened the switch to clean the contacts and ripped a trace in the process. The wire is likely a bodge to correct, but it's difficult to tell with the fuzziness of the pictures.
Do you have a multimeter available? If you haven't already, check the gameboy wiki for troubleshooting common issues related to power.

Yup they are available. Depending on where you are located, can get one from RGRS, retromodding, or AliE, iirc.
Just to make sure this is the root cause, how did you check the fuse?
I checked literally almost everything else and the fuse was the only one not working, and it looked busted up close
Is there an exact name for this fuse that i can get?
