Hey guys! I have a modded gba with a AGS101 lcd, and i'm replacing the shell... The problem is: If i torque the screws properly (obviously without overtightening them), the image just disappears... With no screws on the shell, if i squeeze the gba, the image fades also... Any tips on what should i check to try to solve the issue?

This is not related to the issue at all
Guessing the added pressure is creating a short somewhere on the board, but I could be totally wrong
it is related. The added pressure may be shorting something out as Bloinkeh here says. The symptoms can show up in different ways for example it could stop games from working, make the system power off entirely or as in this case cause issues with the screen
