So a while ago I desoldered the speaker and wires because it was rusty and I put a funny playing speaker in however I could never get the solder to make contact with the pads (one never stuck and the other one can be twisted around the hole) . Since then I’ve used the gameboy without a speaker. Anyway went back to take a look today and was wondering if the pads have been burnt off? Would an Amp be the best way to get sound back?

not confident enough to attempt anything - my mate is a professional so Im gonna hand this over to him to fix

Oh the original speaker had rust in it should I get c38 redone as well? Didn’t have issues with sound though
