Over time, carbon builds up on the power switch, which affects conductivity. This is super common and causes a wide range of issues, such as flickering

Cleaning it isn’t that hard but depends on your soldering ability. If you’re not comfortable doing it, you can either buy a soldering practice kit to get some more experience or see if there’s a cell phone repair shop near you that can open it up for you. If that fails, you may also be able to pay one of the verified modders to do it for you
