I do very much adore the new map system which requires you to buy the maps from merchants to be able to see them, I do have an issue with it though and that inventory clutter when you have a bunch of them I think maybe making it to how recipes work where once you buy and interact/consume them they are added to your map roster, if you want to make it more balanced you could increase map prices or expand on maps by making different levels of them that carry different amount of info like ones that are bare bones and just give you the map image and you have to find points of interest yourself and more expensive ones that come with more of the points of interest mapped out, the map system can either be expanded upon or simplified but where it is now leads to inventory clutter in a game where inventory management is a big deal

Maybe, a purchasable, or craftable atlas? Like a keyring but for your maps. Put them in one bundle instead of taking a whole line?
In my case, once the character learns a map I can't sell it,
I do actually, really want some meta bags for maps and maybe curency? silver and gold bars? crafting components? etc. something to let me sort some would make inventory management a lot better.
