Correct if you want guaranteed seating to buy the add-on too. If you want to risk it in the first come, first serve, you don't need the add-on, but you will need the 3-day ticket

No. If your family members want to visit you at your seat, they will have to have a LAN ticket as well, in order to get into the LAN area. But if you just want to meet up with them and eat or do anything else at the festival, all they need is a festival ticket.

BYOC ticket only really offers a seat and access to the LAN area. It's essentially a table and a chair. You'd need to bring (or rent) gaming equipment - all of it. It doesn't have to be a computer, consoles work as well, but you'd still need at least a monitor (with cable) and ethernet cable. As XenoN wrote - everything you need

Only people with access to the LAN are people with a LAN ticket. Obviously (and unfortunately) things can still be stolen, especially loose items that are easy to grab.

It's a good practice to make your items hard to steal (at least time consuming) and always take loose items with you when you leave your seat for a longer time. It's also a good idea to become friends with your neighbours, as you can take turns with watching eachother's stuff.

Earlier atleast, some of this games have had there own stages. for example OW most liekly has there own stage. I'd asume it might be something simularto the ESL Impact gameas etc aswell.. 🙂
Since the scheudle isnt released yet, it's pretty hard to know much more... but i can ensure u it will be lots of different matches from different games and most likely on some different stages aswell.
for example, some of the games from "Elitserien" ( CS2) will be showed at "mix stages" aswell as "TFT Grand final".

Well, dreamhack take no reaponsibility for your equipment, only people with access ticket will get in, in 20+ its only 20+ and 20+ ultimate that can enter. (And crew/personal ofc)
I know most people leave computer/screens and bring like headset/mouse etc... i have always leave evrything, cuz i think good of people. But I bring a "blanket" i put over my table and also talk with my neighbors if we can keep an eye on each other. Also i pull zipties to lock evrything together, makes it a little harder for someone to just "grab and go".

We often say "opportunity makes the thief" here, which means, if it is easy to steal, there is a high risk that it will be stolen. A good idea would be having a lock on your computer (there are special ones for that purpose) or using zip ties or similar to lock everything together. If someone would want to steal something and it is zip tied together with a bunch of stuff, it would take significantly longer, and thereby the risk of them doing it decreases.

Depends, some just put everything on their gaming chair and roll it in that way

and some just carry as much as they can on one go and go multiple times

don't know how they'll do it during stockholm, but parents have been allowed earlier events to help their kids set up during like the first hours of BYOC, so you have more people carrying the stuff inside

I understand that I need to be present as an adult, but does this mean I also need a ticket for the LAN area? Additionally, are these boys allowed to participate in tournaments like Fortnite ESL and other LAN competitions? I would appreciate a quick response. Thank you!

But for my other question around LAN area, if they have LAN ticket and I should have them under supervision. Does that mean that I need to be "in" the LAN area?

13 yeah 🙂 At least FN wise and to be without 24/7 parents at the event too.
So to enter the LAN area where the computers will be everyone needs their own LAN ticket.
Lan ticket holders can more or less access any area of the event (well normal lan cant enter 20+ lan etc) so if you dont feel the need to supervise them by the computers but maybe want to have meals with them, then a normal day ticket or 3 day ticket is enough.

You buy a ticket. You pick your seat. You go to stockholm, you show your ticket. Get a bracelet that gives you access to lan hall. You set up your rig. You go over to signups and sign up. Play the tourny and enjoy the expo when your not playing.
