On your mob.tscn and player.tscn, select your CharacterBody2D node and change the motion mode from grounded to floating...
Thank you, I will try that. Can you explain to me what is the difference between grounded and floating so I can understand it better
ummm the thing is that grounded is mostly for games like a 2D platformer, where you can jump and land and stuff, whereas floating is more suitable for top-down games... hope that helps. Also I would love to know if changing the settings helped!
