the owner of the server is german and he said that it translates like ruins of the people and it does not have any nazi/fascist implications

The only reason it does is because conversations around “Volk” are usually around ethnic Germans and was used a lot by nazis, and rune translates to runes not ruins which were another one of those “superior aryan German identity” occult topics that the more esoteric nazis were very fond of

Basically i don’t buy it but it’s not my problem

These military war games, especially historic ones, always have this problem to a greater or lesser degree
