I'm trying to make a car from this tutorial( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=69AFrEAtXcs ) and I have no idea what causes the back of the car to go up when this YouTuber clicks on the controller. In my case, the controller only stops the mechanism, it doesn't start it. I think maybe it's these golden variants that cause it

the redstone links got changed from gold to andesite in a recent create update

but they still work the same

however, your redstone links need to be in receive mode

right click them with a wrench to be receive mode

I also recommend holding w over the link in the inventory, it will explain alot

Now I have a new question because 1. I typed "andesite" and didn't find anything resembling a redstone link or controller. 2. The second thing is that I had a redstone link in receive mode, so I simply placed a new one on the ground to show the item I was talking about.

try changing the rotation direction of the motor, it looks like you're pushing it down instead of opening it idk

but things also change between versions, so the build from the tutorial might just not work anymore

i try its hard to show on ss and i dont have nitro but bought rotations react the same to controller(controller just stop mechanism, so it lose gravity depending on which way the back of the car "falls" ) , like controller just make it falls to directions it already falling, even if a make it go other directions controller never making it go up ,i think i have no idea how to explian it sorry

the phys bearings have a few different modes that you can switch through with a wrench

😭 i try this already 2 of them working the same for some reason, and one make blocks not colide so this one isnt for cars for sure

i probably have to new version I guess there is no other option...

but autor use create v 0.5 so I'm afraid of trying to adapt every mod to this version

also look the mods aren't thaaaat complicated so if the tutorial doesn't lead you 100% of the way I'm sure you can figure out the rest

your using a clutch. the video is using an inverted clutch from create connected

or gear shift.

just video using the inverted of either one (prob gear)
