Here's the gamelog. No idea what could be causing this. I tried regenerating all settings, reloading a world backup, and even rebooting my computer without success.

It’s a problem with camera angle while seated on ships
If you look in other directions you might be able to find the direction that it thinks the seat is in
Its easy to spot the issue if you have a minimap mod with an arrow the direction you’re looking
Idk when it’ll get fixed, maybe I’ll get round to it one of these days
