I don't really know anything about coding but how hard would it be to update this to the latest version of VS? https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/valkyrien-skies-2-tfc-compatibility

2.4 supports TFC natively
It does?
Yes
Oh hell Yeah!
I was just about to post about this. Some recent posts lead me to believe new VS version should work with terrafirmagreg, but when i try to add it to the pack it crashes. Am i missing something?
Did you forget kotlin for forge
Send crash report
gimme a couple minutes, i'll generate a new one 😄
I downloaded TFG from curse, successfully created and entered the world, then I added VS and get a crash on trying to enter that world or make a new one
Add mixin.ai.poi=false to lithium.properties in the config folder
certainly looks like it works now, thanks!
No problem
also, I've seen you offer this solution for someone else's problem, maybe it should be pinned somewhere or something?
It’s somewhere in small announcements
peak idea
Is vs clockwork survival friendly?..
I wouldn't say it is yet, not with TFG at least. It seems you can craft quite a few blocks as-is, but some recipes need minor adjustments (not too hard with kubeJS), while some seem to be missing entirely. Also I'm not sure wanderlite will generate in with the terrafirma worldgen. And clockwork still needs some time in the oven it seems, so it's best to wait at least a week or two anyway, I think.
Wanderlite generates In the end iirc
Which shouldn’t be affected by terrafirmacraft
Also clockwork has TFC specific recipes, you might have noticed them for the propellor bearings and stuff
But not everything has a TFC recipe, just the low tier stuff
(Cause those are the only recipes we needed when doing the terrafirmagregwork server)
Except theres no end or nether
Clockwork has recipes designed to be fully compatible with tfg but they aren’t done (and are in the wrong tier atm)
Any idea when they will be done? I don't really wanna make them from scratch with kubejs
You know you can make recipes with JSON and datapacks right…
Much easier than KubeJS imo
i'm vaguely aware, but i have not tried it
Soon, they’re what I’ll be doing after every major launch bug is hammered out
Curious if this is something you've worked out yet
we've been focusing on bugfixes
theres a few placeholder recipes but theyre very unbalanced
Thanks for the update, just glad to know it's in the pipeline. Unrelated question: when I build a balloon in TFG, the ducts visually disconnect from each other, and the air compressor and nozzle animations break. Functionality seems to be unaffected. Wondering if this is expected and if there's any fix for it
ohh
Okay so you don't see that visual bug when using clockwork with TFG?
Wasn't w tfg but I had the same issue. I removed starlight and it worked fine after
Don't know if that's relevant or helpf
It could be ModernFix
Clockwork is incompatible with modernfix
