F1 Car (RB-21)

Sup guys! Thought it'd be nice to share some of my progress with trackwork + a few others. I have a few more cars that i've finished already (5 to be specific) so let me know if you'd like to see them! Just like last time, this car is fully survival-friendly, so if you want to use it in some sort of survival race track, you can! I'm open to any suggestions or tips, and let me know if you want the schematics (schematicannon) aswell. Enjoy?

PS: Forgot to say that i also made a blank livery F1 car for any of you who want to customize it yourselves!

Just use the fence instead of the shaft

In this case it's vertical so it should work

I mean if you really want it to be angled you should probably use a mechanical bearing

thought the same thing after a guy told me to use them for the windshield (my first car) , but it kinda made it more complicated for a single detail but thanks tho, appreciate the feedback

Looks like you’re using a half panel? Maybe try a slice, either 2 or 4 pixels thick

It's a copycat shaft

Because the halo is T shaped, only stuff that fits in the middle of the block can work here
Unless you use a separate ship or smth

tried that already, believe it or not. But it ended up looking too thin and too tall compared to the rest. The halo is pretty thick in the middle and support points. The slice just didnt look “strong enough” imo

I also have a thing against separate ships/vmod, which is why all my builds are survival friendly. call me crazy idk

I’m kind of the same way - or at least try to use minimal separate ships. Sometimes it’s unavoidable

Yea, i also take into consideration the amount of lag multiple ships may produce. If youre working with a not-so-powerful PC, then its gonna STRUGGLE
