#Dipping toes in the bike stuff
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
How do you come up with this insane stuff
it's less long when you actually take angles and height into consideration innit
same platform just heavily tuned and deco
Looks fabulous
I was gonna take a shader ss but then the game crashed so ehh that ends the 4 hour tuning session
I kinda wanted to build motorcycles I'm vs bit tried once, it looked ugly so didn't try again
This is neat
How do you get those turns tho
They look super clean
Make a bicycle
Since you dont get contact patch and no bi-directional steering either I improvised with aerodynamics
Literally a wheel-propelled plane
The time consuming part was grounding the bike with it doing these
A. Not collapsing the front csuspension
B. Not flying when turning
C. Tilting into the turn as bikes do
It's a thing you gotta spend a lot of time for it to click
want to see something cool?
Hm?
Looks nice
Now i am curios what you did
you know me?
What in the heli carrier
lol
it is good?
or do i make this look good?
give me some feed back guys
anyone?
Ye
it is good right?
thxs
How long is the start area
27 x 100
i am going to make an video
like brick farmer
similar to that
not copy
Alr
mmmm toes😋
wha?
dipping toes
in what?
peanut butter
what kind of Bingle bongle Dingle Dangle Yickity doo Yickity Daa Ping Pong Lippy Tappy Too Tah is that?
ms4cook
What mod add this?
Clockwork additions
Ty
That should be the constant velocity joints
I used it because it looked clean and apparently have no collision hitbox
I think that might be on purpose
Cause of turrets n stuff
You should make a texturepack to make bike wheels
I know it's possible I just have no motivation to do that unfortunately
Dw, you’re doing well anyway
Helm in the front
The helm does the roll stabilizing and provide high speed stability
The rest is about flap placements
Extra mech bearing with wings tilted for the tiniest amount of downforce to stabilize the turning
This thing is a light plane with wheels, not really a bike
The leaning is from precise weight tuning and again, flaps placement
hmm
i see ur susly using susapack
damn bro using rocket science on a bike
noo dont think like
that
just kidding theres nothing wrong with using susapack
alright bro chil out sorry
I don't like it, feels sloppy where you can just have things whereever you want so I don't use it
people can have it but I wont plain n simple as that
tru
ur builds are some of the cleanest iv seen
i havent been building thinfs in creative in a while
been grinding create mod in survival
Hold on
How does it turn both ways
flap, with the COM being lower than the rudder
so it tilts in, and the rudder does the steering
the tilting helps with driving sense
whats a susapack
I can make a one block wide bike
But it only steers in one direction
the wheel itself doesn't turn so I kinda left it at that
and yeah that was the reason
it doesn't scale well at high speed either
talking 512rpm
I don't know if I can fit a flap bearing in it
this one have basic aero with some downforce to keep it not flying
the newer one (just posted) uses straight thruster to go
this still have a drivetrain
Does it turn with a ship helm?
No the helm helps with returning straight
And some stabilizing at speed
It was so good in my in-progress drift car that I kinda wanted to use more
I can share the aero setup if you want
It's very weight sensitive but maybe itd help
Nah thanks
I'm not really good with weight sensitivity
I really need to get on with a tuning guide for fast object with clockwork
Its getting out of hands from just cars and now we get light jets like this
Hear me out
Use PID
Instead of helm
Like yes it will fall over unless it's at full speed, but that's almost kinda realistic
Thats so much more complex than placing a helm
ig so, but uhhh...
I HATE HELMS
WRAAAGH
