Will there be any compat with chunk protection mods?

There are few popular ones. The most upstanding one is Xaero's open parties and claims.

It would have taken a lot of very sensitive code changes to opac

Which are painful, and also easily broken

its not really about the code quality

more the code complexity

theres a lot of differnet places that would need to be changed subtly different to each other

some places that would want the world pos, others that would want ship pos

which would take quite a bit of work to figure out
