#default weight for blocks + exceptions

What?
let me explain this a little better: im trying to set a weight for every block, but for certain blocks the weight is different for balancing reasons
Which vs additions doesnt work for
and a datapack to my knowledge requires you to write out everything manually
Figure out what the default is for the most blocks you want
Use vs addition for that
Then do the rest manually in a data pack
No they aren’t
You need to set the priority to 101 I believe
The vs addition config has a “default mass priority” setting I think
Uh elaborate here
Where am i doing that
Hm ok. If I'm setting the weight of something, should I put the file under vs and vs_mass or just the mod's specific data folder
Just to double check
Up to you I believe
Ive tried both a while back
Yeah alright
Ill let you know how it goes. Im goonna try it rq
I'm using ver 0.0.6f for vs additions, I don't theres a default mass priority setting. (it's an older version to avoid conflicts with tallyho)
Well then just try making the data pack priority high
I'm pretty inexperienced with datapacks, so I dunno how
yeah so i set it to load last
still dont work unfortunately
its in the mass file
you specify mass, but you can also specify priority per entry
default is 100 i believe, so higher than that
ah ok
would it look like this?
did you try lowercase p
https://wiki.valkyrienskies.org/wiki/Modifying_Block_Properties just checked le wiki and it seems to be lowercase
To modify the weights of blocks you'll need to create a datapack. You can modify the weights of blocks already specified by Valkyrien Skies by using the priority fields in the below example. Higher values have higher priority, VS has a priority of 100, the example has a priority of 101 which should be fine for whatever you're doing.
The folder s...
also you might need higher than 101 idk
it seems mass needs to be all lowercase too
maybe thats the issue
yes
ah
i removed vs additions, i forgot about talllyho's default weight
i copied this all directly from files in vs_mass so idk what thats about
nvm im a retard
i dunno where that popped along, i made this datapack a while back
yeah seems to still not work unfortunately
even withotui vs additions tallyho is fat
what priority did you try?
tried 101
