A remake I've been wanting to do with all the new and fun tech
69/512 RPM (analogue), runs on bio-diesel generator into electric motor, 4 wide, flap stabilised and weight reduction.
2 mechanical bearing for hood slant, windshield slant and extra detail using flap bearing (also houses the flap stabilizing)

#

no engine popper this time

#

pre-remake build (not accessible atm)

holy crap

#

#

how many ships did you use for this

dusky venture
#

One for engine one for car

#

And 3 contraptions as the title said

Another day and another awesome car made by ms4k

Objectively sexy.

May I ask how did you make the tail lights?

Though the platform it's built on is 4 wide, the actual width is 3

#

Thank you

#

the best i can do without trackwork tho

dusky venture
#

Yea you should treat it to it's own post

gusty kelp
#

Didnt want to replace your post sorry

dusky venture
#

Nono I really liked it

#

Just thought it might deserve it's own post instead of getting lost somewhere in a comment section :P

gusty kelp
#

Oooh i mean i would really do that but its not related to trackwork or vs

(In a good way)

#

Man how can you make the car so small, do you use any build tricks?

#

Lmao the post has 69 likes

dusky venture
#

it's just that the whole thing is 4 wide instead of 3 wide like normal so there's way more room for deco on the sides

#

which is like what, 50% of the looks?

#

it also lets you have some better proportioned parts too like the headlights where they aren't the same size as the front grille

#

Mmm alr

#

the modpack doesn't make that much difference I don't think

#

mostly it's on you trying things out and see what works for you

#

if there's any confusion on what block is on the car you can circle it in an image and send it over I'll try pinpointing it

dusky venture
#

the rims is a custom made from my end for medium wheels, the red/yellow bit is copycats+ byte panel with Chipped's stained glass

kind siren
#

how did you nake the wheels though?

dusky venture
#

trackwork mod?

kind siren
#

like the textures

dusky venture
#

I custom made it modifying the assets from the trackwork mod itself, just download the mod zip from github and dissect it

kind siren
#

is it like making a resource pack?

dusky venture
#

yes, it is a resource pack

kind siren
#

can u show me how

dusky venture
#

you can open the model inside of blockbench and it will read surrounding files to assign the textures and UVs

#

do read up on blockbench modelling if you want to try and make a resource pack

kind siren
#

I know how to make resource packs

#

i sell them

#

😄

#

and i can make decent textures

#

wheres the github link?

dusky venture
kind siren
#

thanks :))

# dusky venture silly billy

It drifts depending on which wheels are being powered right?in this case, only the front wheels have power.

And If I'm correct, there's only one block between them

dusky venture
#

nah it's a replay bug

#

the car is rwd but it doesnt show that on video somehow

#

that donut is like a benchmark of handling for me, if it can turn like that at low speed just mean it can handle well elsewhere too

#

although it's not the final answer to everything

this may be a what the helly 🗣 type car

A whole load of trial n error I suppose

Plus the reference car itself is really nice
