Basically, issue https://github.com/ValkyrienSkies/Valkyrien-Skies-2/issues/764

This made me effectively stop using VS2 entirely. Not being able to debug when the server breaks (yes it hides crash logs as well) is a severe detriment to the everything

before you immediately state "why are you using quilt":

I, and most of the pack developers, like the mod loader
Some of the mods in the pack depend on Quilt
Generally, we would like to stick with Quilt and handle buggy mods by reporting the bugs
