so the transimssion is kind of like old create. you need a "mod" for this to run, the engine. if you dont have to engine you "could" still make it work it would just not be super auto.
why did I make this again 💀
and yes I dont know why I made this

and the purble thing is just for show and it is geared down so you can "See" it easyer
I cant spell again
This is the most overly complex and bulky transmission I have ever seen 😭
This is one I made a little while ago
ADJUSTABLE
CHAIN
DRIVE
Well no, this is probably smaller cause the redstone for an adjustable chain drive one is pretty big
fym?
do most not know about analog input to acgs?
Wait are adjustable chain drives analog?
yes
RPM multiplier = (signal strength + 17)/16 for all strengths 1-15 inclusive
But I mean it would be pretty difficult though to turn 128 into 4000 rmp
not really
How would you do that with chain drives in a design that's smaller
you can increase range at the cost of accuracy same as any design
just pack the chain drives and connect multiple to the same redstone link frequency
Mine has 6 gears
Every one just doubles
So that would be at least 12 Chian drives
And a redstone mechanism so you can go up 1 gear
each one just doubles all the same
and they pack more densely than gears
and the optimal packing by density also happens to have space for the links
That's not trues cause mine are placed on illegal places 😎
and you can just use a gantry or piston to get the signal
You would literally end with something the same size
guaranteed to be exactly as long as a cog gearshift with the same amount of different gears
not in every direction
Anyways, I'm gonna go to sleep bye
and the gantry is not necessary either
Yea i made a realistic panthers 7 speed twin transmission (it has 2 gearboxes) i had to do 2 and logic gates and 2 counters which count on what gear you are whit a total of 9 counts for reverse neutral and 7 normal speeds
And you turn by putting one track on an difrent gear the the other one which will make it turn
To swap gears you had to hold which track you want to gear (A key is left track and D key is right track)
Then shift to go up a gear and control to go down a gear
So to drive forwards from neutral
