the liquid fuel thrusters are a little bulk but you can buff the ionic ones and use those

Basically the motor can use setSpeed() to set any speed from -256 to 256 including 0

It's a CC peripheral

So really you don't have to work with SU that much

(A motor has 16000 SU at max speed)
