oh interesting
it looks like your helm is getting unloaded from distance
maybe another mod is causing this. Send a mod list?
you could also try multiple helms all over the ship, see if that helps
got it
That didn't work, so I think another method would be better.
increase LOD detail
LOD?
sorry. I don't understand English so I don't know which part to read.
thank you
Is this?
yes
sorry. I tried changing the contents of this file but could not solve the problem.
how much did you set it to?
ideally like quadruple it for a ship of your size
I see. The magnification wasn't high enough.
I'll try it again
I will try resetting lod detail to 2048
yeah, that seems like a good amount. I hope it works!
I will report success or failure later.
I have bad news and bad news.
It stopped like before the fix...
umm
oh wait
you have connector extras
It can break some VS things
maybe try without it? (and without any mods that need it)
Can you tell me about additional connectors?
I'm sorry I'm not used to this kind of thing so I just keep asking.
this?
uh no hang on
ok
Connector is a mod that lets you use fabric and forge mods. It works fine, but for whatever reason the 'connector extras' mod breaks VS.
You can try playing without connector extras, but also remove 'Eldritch End' since it needs connector extras
For now, I'll remove the connector folder and try playing.
Understood
Cool
Should I remove this file as well?
uh no that one should be fine
ok
I will report the results later as before.
sorry. The report will be delayed by 30 minutes or more because it is dinner time.
ah, alright
I'm back now
Even deleting the connector didn't work...
lod detail 2048→4096
shiploadDistance 128.0→500
shiploadDistance 196→500
!?
solved!
Thank you both for teaching me so many things.
Amazing! Do you know what did it in the end?
sorry i was afk for a bit
it's okay
For the time being, it no longer becomes stuck even if you leave the ship.
I don't know why it was resolved
huh, strange. Glad its working though
There's a Japanese proverb that says, "All's well that ends well," so I think it's best not to think too much about it.
