Similarly to ms4k's has a small turning radius, same exact dimensions but also has all wheel drive and all wheel steering

#

Yes, both front and back wheels turn when steering

#

Introduces such a technology as multi-ship wheels

#

That allows me to make the wheels just half a block wide, making it easier to integrate the wheels into the car

#

Has a higher ground clearance of 1.5 blocks

timber lark
#

This is too complex

#

Delete it before it becomes self thinking

rapid leaf
#

runs on 2 modular and a pump, which, I admit, makes this less fuel efficient

rapid leaf
#

now the suspension might require some work, but it should be fine

#

also the 3 blocks in front of the driver's seat are FULLY CUSTOMIZEABLE

timber lark
#

Omg 3 blocks are customizable

rapid leaf
#

Oh and as almost all my designs this one is fully survival friendly!

timber lark
#

I think you should make it computer drivable

rapid leaf
#

A fuel port for like gas stations

#

minecraft gas station

rapid leaf
timber lark
#

It's only lua

rapid leaf
timber lark
#

A programing language

#

You should ask schem about it he's a massive nerd for it

#

If you don't get shouted st for using some random thing in your build

timber lark
#

Why is it the timmy turner

#

Should be the doug dimmadome

rapid leaf
timber lark
#

So like most of the cars I make in scrap mechanjc

rapid leaf
#

Originally I wanted to call it steerling so it wasn't the worst option

timber lark
#

It just gives a better turn radius

rapid leaf
#

so it turns better

#

so timmy turner

timber lark
#

Doug dimafome owner of the dimsdale dimadome

rapid leaf
#

Also technically the first car to be able to do... this?.. if you add the necessary controls

timber lark
#

Crab car

wide bone
#

Right, I never posted the double ended car here did I ?

rapid leaf
wide bone
#

Lol you did this one well be proud of it

rapid leaf
wide bone
#

Thats power + weight balancing issue

#

And throttle

rapid leaf
#

No but like the suspension was pretty stiff so I suspect it's that

wide bone
#

Here's said car

#

Send a slice of your susp

rapid leaf
wide bone
#

Piston is more reliable at that size

rapid leaf
wide bone
#

You can try putting the front susp bearing facing down

#

And change the byte block to a slimmer more adjustible slice

rapid leaf
#

I don't have the world open rn, it's an older screenshot

rapid leaf
wide bone
#

Maybe you could just link the wheels too? Like I did in mine

#

Just run the wheels off of 1 bearing

#

That way the wheels are synced

#

Also the wheel design isnt necessarily smooth here

#

Smaller >> lower cog >> more stable

#

I only use the larger one on offroad vehicles

rapid leaf
rapid leaf
wide bone
#

Nah because you lock them either way for speed

rapid leaf
wide bone
#

Without locking rmthe weight of the car would be too much for them to spin, and youd need to put weight onto the susp itself, making it heavier also

#

So running at 256 would be the only option cause its so slow

rapid leaf
#

idk what you mean it performed best at 128 rpm

#

It wasn't the fastest but the steering was pretty good

wide bone
#

Locking the rear wheel helps with power also

#

But leaves it flipping if accelerated too fast

rapid leaf
#

I'm prolly gonna take a break from cars anyway and build an airship or something

wide bone
#

So I'd say use a huge engine to make it smaller and add weight to balances it out

#

Otherwise its great as is

rapid leaf
#

Although cars were the only thing I was at least sort of good at

wide bone
#

I just liked cars tbh, more moving parts

rapid leaf
#

Yeah but I kinda just got tired of it

wide bone
#

Mhm you do you

rapid leaf
#

fck I called it next gen while being several steps behind

wide bone
#

lol don't let that stop you
