Desert optimus prime goes hard
Blud even got the map from mad thunder 🙏
What’d you use to get the smoke coming from the tires
it's a map i made
computers
looks cool
ty
post-apocalyptic, like it
Ля красавец какой
btw where's the small bracket from
design n decor
The small one?
uhh
i dont remember tbh
it's either from this or from create deco
deco is a little different on 1.20
Are those made using command blocks
command computers
You should make it adapt to the color of the blocks, irc computercraft can get the average block color, right?
yeah and it is much simpler than that actually. for whatever reason i only thought about it after i wrote the code for only 2 blocks
Oh lol, well it would be cool
I can't wait for the VMod ship schems also so we can share builds without having to do the whole assembly process 😁 (not sure if you're sharing this schem but it would be cool I love this build so much)
We need those to be a feature of VS2 by default
cc vs or particles?
real...
vmod became one of the best vs addons for me just cause of signal hydraulics but schems would make it a must have
Yeah
Wait I just thought of smthn rlly cool
Might work on making it and pr it to VMod when I get home but what if you had a module in lua to interact with the hydraulics
That would be cool
Also I wish there was also block versions of all the stuff
Kinda like how aero does it
yeah thats what i did for steering
Also can't wait till SpaceEye finishes multi threading the VMod logic
it's basically just compact redstone but whatever
But through Redstone right?
yeah
Yeah
I mean making like a module to interact directly
Also adding different types of transmission wires that used the ropes would be super sick
Like immersive engineering wiring but physics
Also universal joints
Which I think potato might have been thinking about doing but I want them so bad
Those are all my dreams for vs lol
Would make it feel more fluid
I also kinda wish we had different types of bearings like aero and a torsion spring so like the freespin bearing is for freely moving blocks, but if we also could use regular bearings for unlimited force that would be good
Cuz rn the phys bearings are hella unstable and their force changes a lot
How’d you make those particles moving look so good? It looks like there’s some sort of ‘momentum’ from the vehicle inherited.
the wheel particles? i didn't do anything they are like that
you just summon them or they appear automatically?
wdym appear automatically it's a /particle command obviously i don't type it in each time by myself
it stands for pig (male) in russian
oh
ah gotcha, so just summon the particle at ~ ~ ~ ever n ticks?
tsk
how do you make it just not fly where you drive, but stay put?
like get the local position or smth
get the position of a wheel > get the type of block the wheel is on > check if it's not air > place particles
that is cool
oh and also the amount of particles is a function of speed so the faster you go the more particles there are
here's the code
you need run it on each wheel and it has to be a command computer
if there's too much or too few particles you can add a multiplier inside the math.ceil() thing
and it's tuned for specific wheel size?
yeah
great idea and execution 👍
for about 3 blocks tall and 1-3 wide
and this is for block particles instead of smoke
i didn't test it tho
but it should make a trail of particles of the block you are driving on
Should've gone for Kaban (hog)
thank you a ton for sharing ❣️
