#Redstone Resistor breaks for no reason

After trying to build a car using trackwork and a few other mods, the redstone resistor block will break for no reason only when powered by redstone and specifically getting rotational force from a diesel engine from "create:Diesel engines" fueled with any fuel from the mod other than plant oil, and it needs to be transfering rotational force to something like a gearshift or clutch. The item drops, and I have no clue how this bug came to be, I have no incompatable mods installed, and whenever the mod works great for everything else as of currently. I think it is a specific incompat with create:diesel engines because it works fine with every other engine, and I have no clue what could be going wrong here. it breaks regardless of it being phisics infused or not.

Shortened version: When the redstone resistor is powered by a Diesel engine from an addon, and that resistor runs into a gearshift or clutch, the redstone resistor will break when powered. If any of these conditions are not met, this issue does not happen.
Mods are in screenshots, not any incompatable mods as far as I am aware
PLEASE DM ME OR TELL ME WHAT THE PROBLEM IS

I remember create tweaked controllers fixing this iirc.

Quoted from the tweaked controllers CF page:
"Due to a Create limitation, if a network is updated too many times it will break. This can happen if you connect an axis output to an Adjustable Chain Gearshift, for example. This behavior has been disabled since version 1.2.3 of the mod."

Not entirely sure if it's the same thing but no harm in trying :3

thank you! I will see if this will fix it.

#

Thank you so much! works like a charm now.

that's the fix

Ah I see. Thanks

for a specific explanation, create has a weird system which makes it so rotational blocks can only update a certain amount of times in a specifc time period

#

create tweaked controllers just disables that system

uh

#

does a normal shaft in the same place break

pulsar wind

Yes

pallid yew
#

were the rotation blocks rotating when you assembled it

I don't think they were, but you might be on to something. I'll try a different power source

I found that rotating at 96 RPM seems to break the resistor, so that might be the problem

#

94, 160 and 224 seem to break the resistor, so maybe it's a problem with dividing the power correctly

Yes! That seems to have done the trick. Changing the speed to 128 RPM with a speed controller. Thanks for your help
